   Headlines from Parish Council meeting - 6 October 2020    October 14, 2020

Headlines from the recent Parish Council meeting:

Following pressure from the Parish Council, it is hoped that Cheshire East will repaint the existing faded yellow lines on Park Lane in the weeks to come, so that they can be enforced if required next summer.

The Council spent over £6500 on maintaining its various properties and land in the last financial year and will be considering its budget for 2021-22, which will include consideration of maintenance issues, at its November meeting.

It has decided not to proceed with installing CCTV at the IROS gates, but has agreed the principle of installing an additional street light in that area.

It decided to move toward reopening the Village Hall to hirers, subject to many Covid measures, although since that decision Government has now ruled that this will not be allowed for the present.  However the Council will proceed with the Covid measures in anticipation of reopening in due course.
